COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

  • All guests will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms using the Alberta Health Daily Checklist. Any guest exhibiting any symptoms will be denied entry to the hotel and the event. There will be no refunds for guests exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms at the time of the event.

  • Guests will be subject to temperature check upon check-in. Any guest exhibiting elevated temperature (38 degrees Celsius or higher) will be turned away and unable to attend the event. There will be no refunds for guests exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms at the time of the event.

  • In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and mandatory quarantine/isolation requirements, refunds and name transfers will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • Guests will be required to sanitize hands thoroughly at check-in. 

  • Guests check-in times will be staggered to avoid any lobby congestion. Only one party at a time will be permitted entrance into the lobby. All guests from the same room must arrive at the same time. 

  • Masks are mandatory in all indoor public places and common areas (i.e lobby, elevators, hallways etc.). Dancers must also wear a mask on stage.

  • Physical distancing of two (2) meters is required at all times in public places and common areas (i.e lobby, hallways etc.). 

  • Individuals sharing a room must be from the same household. If individuals live alone, they are permitted to have two (2) non-household contacts whom they may share a hotel room with. There will be a strict maximum of four (4) guests per room. No room swapping is permitted. Any violators will be immediately evicted from the event and hotel.   • Four (4) people maximum to an elevator (from the same household or with the live alone clause in effect).

  • Hand sanitizer will be available in the queue for dancers to use before and after they perform. 

  • A maximum of two (2) dancers will be in the queue at any time. Event staff will be monitoring to ensure social distancing is adhered to at all times.

 

  • Observers on the balcony are asked to exhibit clapping only and no cheering, hooting/hollering or screaming. 

 

  •  Mingling between hotel rooms is strictly prohibited. Participants are asked to stay within their household/cohort at all times during the duration of the event, with the exception of the dancer's performance. 

  • Barriers will be positioned between neighbouring balconies to limit all contact.

  • Event staff will be present to ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to.
